[ After a rather long spell of being a bit of a hermit, guess who's making an effort to be social?

That's right. Especially since a Very Important Someone has finally showed up again, though seemingly lacking memories of last time. Well, it won't be hard getting her started again. ]

Uh... Hi, everyone! I hope you're all doing well. [ ...no now's not the time for that ]

So last month, a really close friend of mine arrived here in Luceti--Anri Sonohara-san. She's from Ikebukuro too, and is a classmate of mine and Masaomi's.

.. It's nice to meet you all.

...Though, it doesn't seem she remembers the last time she was here. So if you were her friend, come introduce yourself! I'm sure she won't mind, right? [ er, this is a bit odd-- ]

Um-- that's.. that's okay.

--Anyway, I'll be showing her around the village today, if you need us.

[ Like Mikado said, you can indeed find both of them out and about the village today.

And they really will be everywhere--in all the town center shops and facilities, the rec center and battledome, even as far out as the hot spring. And since he's really trying to make a good impression to Anri here, he'll be chatting up anyone who looks like they'll take a short conversation, whether or not he's met them before. Gotta work hard to get the girl ok!!!!

So come say hi. And this is a joint post with Anri (amoreless), so expect replies from both!! The order will be you > Mikado > Anri c: ]

Well, what about... THE FOUNTAIN, DUN DUN DUN.

Don't mind Katara, she's just on her way to the grocery store.]

Well what a coincidence, them having just left the grocery store. When he sees Katara, his face lights up. There's someone that's of relative importance! ]

Oh, oh! [ wave wave ] Katara-san! Hello!

[Katara turns when she's addressed, seeing two familiar faces.]

Hello, Mikado. How are you?

[And she smiles at Anri, pending imminent the (re?)introduction.]

[ action ] I think we agreed on 'person > mikado > anri' unless we want to change something!

[ Nothing. Nothing at all comes to mind when she sees Katara-- to her, she's just as strange and confusing as everything else has been thus far.

No offence.

But because she isn't a horrible person, she'll lower her head and bow-- then look to Mikado expectantly for some sort of explanation. ]

[Will they stop in the Welcome Cnter at some point and see Aang flipping through the journal at the front desk? If not, maybe they'll run into him while he's going from there to the library.]

[ Of course they'll get to the Welcome Center! Though Mikado doesn't notice Aang right away. ]

--And sometimes they'll have parties for "New Feathers," but I was away right after you came here, so I don't know if they had one or-- ah.

[ And now he spots him. Though he doesn't make the move right away to say hi. He'd love to introduce them, but if he's busy... ]

[ Nod, smile, then nod again. She's repeated that for the past five or ten minutes, but she's honestly playing attention!

But it's a little hard to not look at and, to a larger extent, ignore a bald 12 year old(?). So she slips in glances here and there when she thinks that Mikado isn't looking. ]

[This monk, actually 14 now and around the same height as Katara, perks up when he hears Mikado's voice. There's nothing pressing going on, so he waves them over.]

Hey, Mikado! Who's your friend?

[And at the battle dome with two thumbs is this guy. He's here, sitting on a bench between a hard workout. He's been going slow to recover from that broken arm, but his PT period is pretty much over now. So he's back to jogging in twice earth's gravity and doing chin ups and stuff. So he's here with wife beater on and shorts sweating with more muscles than he ever had back home and florescent pink wings.

--Here you can do all sorts of training. It's like the barracks, but there's a huge interface where you can program a setting and enemies... I think it's even possible to recreate Ikebukuro.

[ He'd keep talking, but Anri might notice how he's stalled the longest outside the battledome than any other location. He doesn't want to die in there...

Though after a few moments of intensely staring at the entrance, he'll motion for Anri to follow him in. He doesn't notice Masaomi right away though HE'S TOO PARANOID--

[ Again-- nodding and taking everything in, but this time she feels that it's not as important for her to pay attention. It's not anything incredibly appealing - Anri herself isn't very interested in the idea of deliberately engaging in violence - but she's still listening anyway.

She'd be lying if she said she wasn't worried at the moment (she's really hoping that he's not planning on giving her a test run), but she isn't nearly as distressed as Mikado is by the concept of the dome.

But!!

She notices Masaomi, however.. different he is. Change is a scary thing. Her hand moves to reach for the other - but she doesn't touch him, of course! - to grab his attention. ]

[ And then the party starts. ]

[ Party indeed.

A certain artificial intelligence has been quietly doing her thing in the back of the battledome and not paying attention to you silly test subjects, but the name "Mikado" catches her attention instantly.

There's the sound of shifting metal as she lifts her head to focus on the newest arrivals to the battledome... and sure enough, there he is.

Well. ]

Oh, look. It seems you've finally come back. You know, we never did get around to disassembling you...

[This guy is chilling on a bench by the square, fiddling with some of the settings on his camera before deciding what to use as a subject today. Maybe he'll try for some candids of the villagers... like that cute couple wandering in his direction.

Oh wait, he knows at least one of them. Have a lazy wave, Mikado-kun.]

Mikado doesn't notice him right away, he's too busy telling Anri about the time Shizuo showed up-- ] ...And he completely ripped up the fountain! The water was everywhere, and when he looked at me I really thought I was going to... Oh! [ There he is! Waving back!

[ This story's enough to rouse a little smile - maybe even a small laugh if Mikado is lucky - but it's still a lot to take in--

Oh. Another unfamiliar face, but that's not incredibly surprising-- if she's going to know anyone at all, it'll only be the other two that make up their (infamous) trio.

She follows after, albeit reluctantly-- and then, before anyone starts anything, she makes sure to lower her head slightly. First impressions need to be good impressions. ]

[Everywhere must include the tea shop, yes? Sheena's busy with a different customer when Mikado and his friend come in so at first all he'll get is a distracted wave. The sort that means pick a table.]

So slipping into a corner table and motioning for Anri to follow. He glances around curiously for a moment before commenting, ]

...I've actually never been here before.

Well what's taken you so long? [She amuses herself sometimes by trying to show up beside a table silently. Like a ninja.]

Guess that means you don't know what we've got here either. D'you like tea?

[Yep just walking through the plaza and minding his own bus- well hi there. When did you come back?]

Anri? [Also Mikado. Hi Mikado. What's up. It's been a while, but it's still not as pressing and surprising.]

[ She turns when she's called, but she's clueless. Nothing about this person rings a bell-- as such, the look on her face is incredibly blank and vacant. ]

I-I'm sorry, but.. [ She doesn't know how to finish that off, either. It seems rude to tell him that she doesn't know him at all. ]

[HELLO THERE, MIKADO. Emil is just leaving his job at the tea shop, complete with a small bag of leftover sweets he's taking home. He's also looking very approachable today! What do you do?]

[ WELL, how about that. Mikado is taking Anri into the tea shop now so they will most definitely run into each other!

...Literally! Mikado's so wrapped up in talking about other people from Ikebukuro showing up and what kinds of nonsense they got into in the meanwhile, that he doesn't see Emil and just ends up running into him instead.

A-Ah-- Mikado-kun!

[ She can't exactly catch him while he falls, so.. she's stuck watching him. When he hits the ground, she winces-- but she also checks to see if Emil is okay, too!

She looks back and forth between the two - for quite a while, because she doesn't know what to do - then decides to speak. ]

Um.. are you both okay..?

[action] I hope you don't mind my lateness...!!!!

[Well it's a nice day outside, so Czes has taken it upon himself to take a walk. But of course since it's also hot out, he's also taken it upon himself to go inside the food store and get some sherbet to go. It's the best way to roll.

Unfortunately, as he's walking out of the store with his cup full of deliciousness and is relatively distracted by it, he bumps right into Anri.]

Ah--I'm so sorry Miss!!
